HELP! Need childminder for 2hrs every so often Post Reply

I have a 9 month old son and need childcare for a couple of hours every so often with little notice (normally couple of days/could be day before) as my partner is an actor and needs to go to auditions in central London and I work full time. These take no longer than 2hrs normally.

We live near All Farthing School and can come to you with my son.

Can you or anyone you know accommodate this??

He is a very easy going and not a fussy baby.

There was a topic on here a while back regarding flexible childcare and http://www.third-door.com was recommended. It's local to you in Wandsworth. I personally do not know anyone who has used third-door, so could not tell you if suitable or flexible enough for your situation. hi there,
I have a friend who does this kind of ad hoc childcare for me. She is lovely! Has lots of babysitting experience and my 14 month old loves her. She looked after him from 8am-1pm with no problems when he he hadn't been left with anyone other than me or his Dad for that kind of time before.
She's had a CRB check in the last year as well which she needed for a job.
She is very calm and has lots of patience playing with babies and toddlers.
