Hi,

I agree -it is a lot, but it seems there is a need in the market for a baby/toddler pram! I went to see it @ Peppermint and absolutely loved it! Let's face it, most end up with kids close at age! I will be ordering one for sure, but will be sad to say buy to me Stokke! :D

I was really looking forward to this coming out, but I saw someone pushing one on Clapham Common on the weekend (not sure how they've got one, must have bought it in the States) and thought it looked massive compared with my Bee. It was like a tank.

And I can't ignore the price. It won't be long before my toddler refuses the buggy altogether so in the end I'll be paying £1,200 just to use it as a single pram.

Still not sure though!!

My chameleon has got squeaky wheels and no matter how much oil i (or my husband) pour in them it's still making a ridiculous noise as we walk down the street. it's driving me crazy! what to do?!

I also saw someone with one yesterday in Mothercare at Southside. I agree it looks huge and has certainly lost alot of the style appeal that I guess you are paying for when you buy a Bugaboo. I love my Cameleon and it handles like a dream (thought that it cost way too much though when I got it), but I just couldn't justify the ridiculous price for a Donkey (such a terrible name by the way - surely the marketing bods could have come up with something better?) Still am sure there will be people prepared to pay it. Might be an option when they start to sell second hand.

I wouldn't want to try to fit down the grocery aisle next to that monstrosity. Why not carry the baby in a sling or baby carrier for 6 months and keep the toddler in the stroller. Then put the baby in the stroller and get a buggy board to attach to that back for the toddler? Cheaper and makes more sense to me. Babies like to be held close anyway. I barely used my stroller until my first born was 6 months old anyway.
