Executive career coach needed

Postby MTC » Fri May 06, 2016 3:26 pm

I am a senior level professional in finance / consulting and am looking to change careers. Does anyone have suggestions on career coaches who work with senior execs? Desperately need to talk to someone! Thank you.

Hello, happy to recommend Polly Downes (pollydownes@hotmail.com).
She's a coach, she's local, and she's lovely!

You should speak to a career coach called Sam Waterfall. He specialises in making job seekers the obvious candidate for their ideal next role. He helped me land my latest senior role. So I'm happy to recommend. His email is sam@obviouscandidate.com.

Hello
Jumping on this post to ask if anyone could tell roughly the fee range for a job coach such as the ones recommended here ?
I have been thinking about it for some time but I feel that the fee will simply be unaffordable for me right now ...
thanks

I've recommended him on here to someone before, but try Phil Cox at www.coxandcompanypeople.com

He coaches at a high level in the City including Partner development work, but he also works in a variety of other industries and as he is a qualified counsellor he brings a highly empathic style. When I was considering a career change, he helped me realise what I really wanted and needed, as opposed to the ideas about which I was idly daydreaming!

Good luck...

I used James Bianco at http://www.16degreescoaching.co.uk/ He's Brighton based but in London 3 times a week. Think he charges about £60/hr. He has great energy.

I can recommend Phil Bolton of Less Ordinary Living - ex Deloittes, very helpful if you want to expand your thinking, sound on business planning etc too:
http://www.lessordinaryliving.com/home
From memory, 5 sessions of an hour each come in under £1,000.

What would be amazing is like a meet up / speed dating session with all the local career coaches where you could meet for a few minutes, read literature and understand how they work, costs etc... a big like the amazing Mum's meet up Nappy Valley organise....

Just a thought as there are obviously so many people out there looking but not really knowing where to start...

Just noticed this post and wanted to introduce myself. I'm a local mum and a fully qualified Career Coach with over 10 years experience helping people find fulfilling work that makes them happy. I focus on the whole person in my coaching; not just the career.
I pride myself on offering high quality yet affordable Career Coaching. I practice locally and in the Southbank.
I offer a free 15 minute chat, where you can meet me on Skype or over the phone. If you'd like to speak to me just get in touch.
In any case good luck with all your endeavours :)

Best wishes

I'm sure there are lots of fab careers coaches out there.
But don't forget that the chances are you already know lots of amazing people that have done all sorts of interesting careers.
So don't forget to use your existing network to bat around ideas and find out more about industries you might not have considered.
The mummy network especially is really powerful and most mums are delighted to be able to offer a little help or advice.
