Anyone tried Pilates Practice?

Postby boojackson » Tue May 31, 2011 1:14 pm

Hi,
I was interested in perhaps signing up with Pilates Practice on St Johns Hill, or Pilates Junction. Does anyone have any experience of either?!
Thanks!

I'm afraid I can't answer your question but I've been looking to start Pilates myself and I found a really good Pilates centre on Battersea Square. There doing a great deal on classes and works out half as cheap as Pilates practice.

Found that one too, but it's a bit further for me to get to and I worry that if it's that bit further I won't committ!

I go to PePilates and they are fab. I Did go to Pilates Practice but loving PePilates. They are just off Clapham Park Road / end of Abbeville. Lovely studio and great instructors. They do really good trial class rates too.

Yes, I go to the Pilates Practice. I've been very pleased with it - the sessions are quite tailored to your individual needs and they are good at dealing with recovery from injuries or any aches and pains you may have. I found them very good in pregnancy too and post birth tummy toning as well as general toning up! I never suffered any back-ache in pregnancy which I think is thanks to the Pilates Practice. The sessions are relatively expensive but because they are tailored and the groups are small it is more like personal training so reasonably good value. Also the use of the exercise machines and the various equipment they have seems to make the sessions more effective so you see results more quickly than perhaps you would with just matwork.
