A lovely Barnes family who have welcomed previous nannies into their home with open arms (one nanny for 9 years!), are looking for a live-out nanny to help with after school care. They have three active boys aged 6,8 and 10. They would ideally like someone Mon-Friday/Mon-Thurs 3-7pm, with babysitting every Wednesday. It would be great if you could be available to work increased hours during the holidays. As help is needed to co-ordinate after-school activities, a confident driver with a clean driving license is essential. The family are happy for the nanny to use their car but having your own would be a bonus.You will be energetic, pro-active and organised, and encourage the boys to be the same(?!) Both parents have busy working lives, so it is essential that you are a good communicator (via WhatsApp etc.), happy to take instruction and to use your own initiative when necessary! Knowing the local area is a big plus. Duties to include:
- Preparing and cooking healthy, varied meals (may need to begin earlier than 3pm to accommodate this)
- Supervising homework
- Keeping communal areas and the boys’ bedrooms tidy
- Washing and ironing family’s clothes
An up to date DBS, references and a good sense of humour are a must! I can speak very highly of the family and was employed to do this role but due to the family’s relocation it was no longer possible. I do, however, still work for the Dad’s business!
