Hi, I’m trying to start using cloth nappies for my 2nd baby. Does anyone know if there is still a cloth nappy library anywhere in Wandsworth? Or any kind of support?

I’ve googled it and something comes up, but it’s all from 2015 and I can’t find anything current. It seems ridiculous that there isn’t anything round here with such a high density of babies. And Wandsworth doesn’t seem to do the voucher scheme to help with initial costs - like many boroughs do.

Any advice greatly appreciated.

Also worth trying the Facebook group - cloth bums and bits sw London - which was set up by a couple of local mums. They are pretty helpful about how to do this in a cost effective manner and advertise about local resources.

Yes! We love our cloth nappies and I would love to see more babies wearing them. If you haven’t yet, check out the Nappy Lady (https://www.thenappylady.co.uk). She has a questionnaire that you can fill out and she will recommend the best cloth nappy system for your needs (and budget).

I used cloth nappies for my two and like you found local support tricky to come by
I second the nappy lady like above poster
But also Fill your pants do a good trial scheme where you get to try all the different styles on your baby to get the fit and design that works for your baby
