Following on from our successful holiday club, we still have a few spaces available at our Forest School after school club.
We run the club at our community garden site on Tuesdays after school from 3.30pm to 5.30pm.
Our leaders come to the weekly sessions with an idea for learning. This could be anything such as fire lighting, cooking over an open fire, shelter building, bushcraft skills, tool use, creating natural art etc. They present the idea to the children and the children lead their learning during the open ended activities. Amongst all this, there will be plenty of new games to try out, a chance to explore, manage risk, reflect and make new friends.
