I booked a treatment at the aprils promise spa as had seen it promoted on here several times. My treatment was booked for 1300, at 1140 I got a phone call asking if they could push it back until 2pm. Unfortunately that would not have allowed me enough time to collect my child from school, I suggested 1330 but they rang back saying they would need to reschedule as the therapist was double booked. I requested a refund as had had to pay a 50% deposit. To cancel a treatment so soon to the treatment time really annoyed me. Yes this is a first world problem but I had booked it as I had done extra overtime last week when I was on annual leave (I’m a nurse and there is plenty of work going) and have chronic back ache (thanks to my job) which I thought would benefit from a massage.
If anyone can recommended somewhere local I would be grateful. But as for aprils promise I shall not bother going there.
