Fun and supportive 11+ test preparation - summer camp 2023

Postby ConfidentRevision » Wed Oct 12, 2022 11:45 am

We are delighted to be returning to Belleville School for a sixth year with our Year 5 revision course in summer 2023. We are Verbal and Non-Verbal Reasoning specialists who have helped plenty of local children prepare for their secondary school entrance exams.

Our overwhelmingly positive feedback from parents this year includes:

Fun and supportive preparation for the Wandsworth Test.

My son made great strides - the teaching seemed to be adapted to what he needed so he left feeling very confident.

I particularly like the post-course feedback, absolutely spot on. I highly recommend this course!

My son's confidence grew every day, and I can see the difference now when he practices the tests.

He always came out of a session having learned lots of practical tips and with a smile on his face.

We have designed our courses to help children improve their test accuracy, pace and as a result, their confidence. We have helped countless children gain places at their preferred secondary schools - selective academies, grammar schools and independents.

We have a choice of two local venues and dates in July and August –  for booking and further information visit ConfidentRevision.com

An early bird discount is available and early booking is recommended as places are strictly limited to ensure low student to tutor ratio. We are qualified teachers with DBS certificates.

Confident Revision is a collaboration of two experienced local tutoring businesses – Test Club Tutors and Growing Young Minds, combining years of experience to help your child become test ready.

Joanne and Kath are LEGENDARY tutors! They were brilliant, kind and encouraging with my son and I couldn’t recommend them highly enough. I know a lot of parents who have used them and adore them. Don’t know how we would have done the Wandsworth test without it!

My daughter attended a week long summer course with Confident Revision. This was her only tuition for the Wandsworth Test, she also had practice books and tests to use at home. She felt ready and confident on the day and the result she achieved is testimony to both her effort and consistent practice and the strategies shared by Joanne and Kath.

Because the Wandsworth test is no longer compulsory, local schools are not necessarily providing children with training and practice time. If you are unfamiliar with the type of verbal and non-verbal reasoning questions in the test, they would be extremely difficult to answer without prior exposure. However they have particular patterns to them and once familiar with how they work a child can feel more confident and speed up.

If you might select a school that requires your child to sit the Wandsworth test, I would strongly recommend providing support, so that they have a good experience on the day, even if a particular result isn’t critical to school entry. I can highly recommend Kath and Joanne. The kids have a great time and learn a huge amount about how to approach the questions.
