Does anyone on this site use either Edward James or Charlotte Cave in Balham? Trekking up to the West End to my usual hairdresser is becoming too much hassle and I was thinking of trying somewhere more local. Would love any feedback on either of these or any other local suggestions. Thank you.

I don’t know either of these so will revert to others to comment on them. However, Hari’s on northcote road is excellent. I go to Sarah Clarke and she’s brilliant.

I went to Edward James for the first time on Northcote road last week, and saw Pedro. He did my colour, cut etc and was simply amazing. would thoroughly recommend him, and I love that you get a relaxing massage before your treatment starts. A lovely treat.

I've bee seeing Christian at Edward James Balham for colour for years (actually he used to be at the Northcote location). He's lovely and I think he does an amazing job with colour. I can't recommend him enough.

I haven't been to Edward James or Charlotte Cave, but I've heard good things about both. Personally, I go Rush and always been pleased.

I go to Daniel at Charlotte Cave and would recommend especially for highlights.
