My husband is a horrendous snorer and it drives me completely insane so I have huge sympathy with you. It’s quite possible yours has sleep apnoea which means that he will stop breathing for short periods and therefore interrupt the oxygen flow to his brain and body. Ask your doctor for a referral to the sleep clinic at St George’s. You need to really push for this. Mine was given an oxygen monitor to wear on his finger at night - I can’t remember how long for - and it showed his levels were sporadic. So they supplied him with a machine called CPAP which is a small silicon mask that goes over his nose and gently pushes oxygen up it. It’s a life changer. The newest machine we just got is really quiet and it almost completely stops the snoring. It doesn’t cure it, as if he falls asleep without it, the horrendous sound starts again, but once he puts it on it stops. I really hope you can get help. I’ve heard that some dentists fit a mouth guard thing that is also supposed to stop snoring but it’s pretty expensive and we’ve stuck with the CPAP we’ve been supplied with. You really have my every sympathy. At times I could have stabbed my husband
