World Autism Awareness Day at Battersea Power Station

To celebrate World Autism Awareness Day on Tuesday 2nd April Battersea Power Station are hosting a range of workshops and activities across the Easter Holidays from Tuesday 2nd April – Sunday 14th April.

AUTISTIC, ADHD & SEND-FRIENDLY WORKSHOPS
Little ones can enjoy SmileyWorld® inspired arts and crafts sessions, which have been tailored to create an inclusive environment for autistic, ADHD and SEND children. From designing their own Mood Mug and Draw String Bag to LED Happy Hula Hooping and Interactive Storytelling.

The following adjustments have been made:
• Early relaxed sessions during quieter opening time to avoid crowds
• Longer session to allow extra time for arrival and departure
• Participants are welcome to stay for as long as they want within the session time period
• Reduced participant numbers
• Helpful experienced support staff
• Chill out bean bag corner area – please note this is in the same space as the workshop

Times: Between 10AM – 11AM

LIVE BOOK READING OF ‘THE FIZZY BRAIN’
Join us for a special reading of ‘The Fizzy Brain’ on Sunday 14th April, by Noah Faria, age 8, who wrote the book and Q&A with Noah Faria and Emi Webber, the illustrator, who both have Autism and ADHD.
11:00 – Welcoming Attendees
11:15 – Booking Reading by Author
11.30 – Q&A with Noah Faria (Author) and Emi Webber (Illustrator)
11:45 – Opportunity to purchase the book. Contactless payments only.
