ADHD - Medication

Postby Honey_B » Thu May 11, 2023 4:42 pm

Our 8 year old daughter was diagnosed with ADHD a couple of years ago and we are now exploring options for medication.

We have just found out that the waitlist for an appointment to speak to a specialist under Lambeth with the NHS is currently 30 weeks so would like to look at private options.

Does anyone have any recommendations?

I would recommend Dr Stefanos Maltezos at the Effra Clinic. He also practices at The Maudsley.

Hi there
We used ADHD360 and are under the care of a lovely nurse called Sally. It took 2 weeks to get a consultation. Best of luck

If you're looking for more information on ADHD treatments and the latest advancements, I highly recommend checking out the clinical research found here. This resource offers valuable insights into pediatric ADHD, including medication efficacy, side effects, and holistic care approaches. It helped us make informed decisions about our son's treatment plan. Also, consider connecting with local parent support groups; they're a goldmine of information and can offer personal experiences with various specialists. Wishing you the best on this journey
