Half Day Spring Urban Yoga Retreat on Magical Eel Pie Island

Postby Nadiayoga » Thu Apr 04, 2024 11:05 am

Join senior yoga teacher and chakra yoga specialist Nadia Raafat on magical Eel Pie Island for a Chakra Tune-Up and Cacao ceremony.
Saturday 20 April 2pn-6pm

In this half-day workshop, I will be introducing and explaining the chakra system and the human energy field before leading you on an experiential movement, sound, visualisation and meditation-based journey through the seven main chakras of the yogic system.

After an extended yoga nidra inner energy session, we will gather for a cacao ceremony where you will have the opportunity to creatively draw and colour your own chakra map based on what you have learned about yourself so far.

This workshop offers the opportunity to discover the deep wisdom of the ancient chakra system, both theoretically and experientially, and begin your journey with the chakras. If you already have an understanding of this system, this is your opportunity to reconnect with it and go deeper. There is no end destination with this work; only a delightful unfolding and expanding.

Chakra Yoga is ultimate yoga; a truly holistic and complete mind, body and spirit path for healing, awakening and fulfilling your soul potential. Nothing less. It is my primary practice.

About Eel Pie Island
If you have not yet been to one of the Eel Pie gatherings, this will be a wonderful opportunity to experience the ‘magic’ of the island as it blooms into spring.

Eel Pie Island is a small private island in the Thames, accessed via a footbridge from Twickenham riverside and across the water from Richmond. It is home to a large artist's community and an array of wonderfully eccentric properties (one is pictured above). Twice a year, the islanders welcome the public to visit and view their art exhibitions.
The island also has quite a colourful rock n roll history which is presented in the Eel Pie Museum located on the mainland. The yoga space is on the water front and is truly the most delightful urban sanctuary.

I feel blessed to be able to host you in this very special space for our seasonal community gatherings.

Cost £70
