My 8 and 10 year olds want to go to touch typing classes. The school say they have a programme but so little time is allocated to it that improvement is minimal and it's frustrating for them. I'm looking for a once-a-week after-school small group class. Any ideas?

I think that I saw a poster or leaflet once in Northcote Rd library for a touch typing course. Was a while ago now. Not sure what age it was aimed at. Good luck finding one.

You should just buy your own computer programme. My Mum used to teach me and that was back in the 90's so there must be good fun ones for young ones now. The BBC has quite a good one with different levels.

Its just practice, I dont see the point spending money on lessons, they'll pick it up eventually. I also used to play computer games where you had to type what you wanted a character to do, this also helped and was fun.
