Wee ones Nursery

Postby puddleduck » Mon Jan 16, 2012 4:55 pm

I am keen to know if anyone has got any experience of Wee Ones Nursery on St Ann's Crescent in Wandsworth. I am looking at sending my 9 month old baby on a full time basis. Thank you

I don't have any personal experience of sending my child yet but I have had a look around and all I suggest you do is go visit and get your baby's name down asap if you are interested as they are fully booked months and months in advance.

I looked round Wee Ones last year for my then 9 month year old baby. Seemed fine and a beautiful building and garden. At that time I had the impression that it was more geared up towards toddlers as opposed to baby care but things may have changed. I ended up going to Eveline on Geraldine Road ( literally just round the corner from Wee Ones)and am so very happy there. All my neighbours sent their children there and I seem to be surrounded by generations of very happy graduates from eveline. I really am delighted with them so if you are still considering options - have a look there too.

My son is at Wee Ones and has been there since he was around 15 months so we have experience of both the baby room and toddler room. The outdoor space is fantastic for both the babies and toddlers and my son is very happy there. The key workers in the baby room are particularly lovely. Having said that, I have also heard great things about Eveline and have friends with children there who speak very highly of it. Best to get your name down for either asap! Hope that helps.

Hi,

My daughter and son are both at Wee Ones. My three and a half year old started at two and my two and a quater year old son has just started this term. As they started when they were older I have no experience of the baby room or full day childcare but my eldest has been extremely happy and my youngest seems to be settling fine. I also know many who have their children in full time day care and are happy. There have been a few issues with disorganisation recently but the Head seemed to address this and things were resolved very quickly. Also worth noting that they are opening up Wandsworth Prep this September for 4-11year olds and as Wee Ones is involved it will no doubt be a feeder school.

Good luck!
