Gentleman and van - would you recommend?

Postby twice_as_nice » Thu Feb 02, 2012 3:51 pm

Hi,

We are getting some items moved from storage and I've got a few quotes through from different companies. At present, Gentleman and Van is the most competitive...anyone used them and if so did you rate them?

I've seen that 3 people suggested them in previous posts requesting recommendations for good removal companies - interested to hear any other thoughts....

thanks very much

I think you should use them, they're great! We've used them a couple of times, including when we moved our furniture back into our newly renovated home when I was sure I would cry if they marked the walls; luckily for them, they didn't!

Also recommended them to my boss who used them and loved them too

Hope that helps

I have only heard good things about them, a friend of mine moved house with them and thought they were amazing. They came to quote for our house move and though I thought they were very thorough, friendly, professional etc, they were way more expensive than some of the companies that quoted. In the end we went with Burke and Wills and they were brilliant - can't recommend them highly enough. And not a single breakage/lost item. If you haven't had a quote from them already I'd definitely give them a call.

Thanks very much! I've already had a quote from them - and it was the cheapest of all the quotes I got by quite a significant amount.

Great to hear good things about them!

I used them also moving to a newly renovated house and they were so careful and helpful and thoughtful as I was also dealing with a newborn. They are really really good ....

Can't recommend G and V enough!
They were totally brilliant when we moved. The guys were all well spoken polite and very careful with all our stuff.
Highly recommended! Def use them!
