Laser Care Balham - closed down?

Postby lua » Mon Apr 02, 2012 12:40 pm

Has anyone been to Laser Care in Bedford Hill in the last few days? I still have 3 sessions left of a package I bought a few months ago. They cancelled my appointment by text message and it seems all their phone numbers have been disconnected, they don't reply to emails and when I went there last week the place was closed! So annoying!!
They put an advert on this site a few months ago so I thought some of you might have been there recently? Thanks

Hi,

Sadly this company has closed down. Savvy Mummys will be bringing you some more laser care deals in a similar area soon.

Hi there,
I did by my deal from Savvy Mummies in the summer. Can you please email with the details of what to do to get a refund?
Thanks!

Hi bethanymontgomery1
In your original post this morning you said people who had bought the Laser Care deal through you should contact Savvy Mummys for a refund. You also mentioned you had received complaints from other customers. The post was edited a few hours later, does that mean you will not be offering refunds to those affected like myself?
Thanks

Hi can I just say that exactly the same thing has just happened to me for Blossom Beauty and Spa on Lavender Hill. I bought 6 IPL sessions in advance from Groupon. They have cancelled my 3rd appointment by text and completely disappeared...no phone or website...is it the same company???

To make it worse Groupon are still advertising this deal. I have just emailed to complain and see how I can get some of the money back. I feel completely ripped off by Groupon and Blossom Spa.

Does anyone know what our rights are in cases like this? Can Groupon or Blossom spa take our money without being accountable if they shut down? It feels like a real con and is obviously happening to lots of people.

Please let me know what happens with Laser Care Balham/Savvymummy so I can work out who to contact in my case.
Many thanks
Mx

I am in the same situation. She cancelled my las appointement via phone and then I got no reply from emails and phone calls and I went there to find out that she left.
I ask if she said anything about coming back and the hairdresser said that she went one day saying tha she had to go to hospital to have the baby and she could no longer manage the business, took her belonguins and left.

I complined to The voucher company I purchased the voucher from who said that they would put my money back into the account in points because my voucher was expired to what I said that it was imposible to have 6 laser treatment within the time frame of the voucher and they arranged a cheque.

To make matters worst I paid £120 cash to Sonia for another course of laser treatment and I only had 2 when she closed the business down. I am still fuming to the umprofessionalism of the owner and I would like to put a formal complaint but I only know that the owner name is Sonia and the hairdressing studio won't give me the surname. I want to go to the police to put a formal complain as 2 other friends of mine are in the same situation and obviously we are no the only ones.

Would anybody know more details about Sonia?

I would recomend that whoever has a voucher refer back to the voucher company for a refun.
