Hi,

Would be great to have a Clapham South meet up. I am actually down the road in Balham and my daughter is 2,5 yrs.

I am a stay at home Mum and my daughter will only start nursery when she is three. Not easy to find many Mums who have toddlers that are not at nursery yet and who have time to "socialise".

Naturally, finding a venue where small kids can run around is more challenging. Keep me posted, please.

I recently moved to the Balham area and would love to meet other moms nearby. I have a 18 month old lil girl Ellery and am 6 months prego with number two. Let me know if there is an established time/location and we would love to join!

Hi Ladies,
Ok..a little cheeky as slighty off topic but I'm a student with over 20 years experience as a nanny and always looking for ad hoc work so if you'd also quite like a night out, or to have time for a glass of wine with your lunch without worrying about your lovely little people running amok, get in touch and I'd be happy to take them off your hands for a couple of hours. ( I can provide both written and verbal references).
In the meantime, hope you all enjoy your coffee and ice-cream!

Did anyone from this site attend the NCT group at Wandsworth Common? If so, how was it?

Another Stay at home mum looking for some like-minds

Postby sarahrobe » Mon Nov 09, 2009 4:42 pm

Hi there,

How brilliant to hear that I'm not the only one experiencing the 'all alone stay-at-home Mum' thing. It's very rare to find Mum's who are full-time stay at homes in my part of Wandsworth. I'm 41 and gave up a long career to have children nearly 4 years ago. Pretty much all the mums of my age are back at work and only take Friday's off if at all. It's worse than dating!!!

I have a one and two year old and another on the way and would love to meet other full-time mum's like me who live in the SW18 Westhill, Southfields area.

Hi there
I am new to London and have a 31/2 daughter. We would like to meet up with the Clapham South group - we are just off Abbeyville.
Looking forward to some 'adult' conversation!
Regards

Yvonne

I'm another Balham/Clapham South-ite. Mum to an almost 1yr old. Not new to the area, but new to NappyValley. Most of my NCT group went back to work and our meet ups fizzled out. Would love to get to know some new people.

Annabel please organise a Clapham Park/Balham/Streatham Hill meet-up! Most of my mum friends work full-time or have moved out of London and it would be nice to make some new friends. I work part-time and it's hard getting to playgroups when I'm already trying to squeeze in fun classes for my 20-month old on my days off.

xx

Hi,
Would anyone fancy meeting up for a coffee since many of us are in a similar boat. I know that NVN are organising a meet-up but I just really want to meet people and for Oscar (2yrs) to make some friends. We live between the commons and can walk to either for a chat.
