Airport pickup from LHR to Battersea? Post Reply

Hi does anyone have a recommendation for a cheap but reliable pre booked minicab from Heathrow to Battersea?

We've got guests arriving at Heathrow, but for various complicated reasons, we can't meet them ourselves. We want to send a car to meet them, but would prefer not to use Addison Lee - too expensive...

Any ideas? all of the companies I remember from the last time I did this seem to be out of business!

We use a company which I have in my phone as Dependable airport taxi tho not sure that's their name. Used them lots for Gatwick and Heathrow from Brixton. Tel 020 8542 2222. They always come on time. One gripe is they often haven't secured their child/baby car seat and driver doesn't always know so last thurs we were trying to secure it at 4.30am with a very grumpy 14 month old who didn't really want to be getting in a car at stupid o'clock ...

Try Simply Airport 020 7701 4321 they are very reasonably priced and also reliable.

We use Soutwest Cars or KVC.

They are both good and reliable. KVC even has an Iphone app and is very handy.

We use Purple express on Cavendish road 020 8673 7007. They usually charge around 40£. very reliable.

you should look up mini cab companies near Heathrow and organise for them to do a pick up . That way they will charge only for one way , instead of a clapham based company which could charge you for both ways ...

Keen cars - always reliable and have a nice selection of cars so you could ask for something better than your everyday.

Kvc is good and cheap
however they don't come at the gate with a card with name to greet guest
We always have trouble finding them as they dont want to use car park so they usually stay somewhere (most of the time at the departure drop off..)
if your guests don't speak English, I would advice you to use another company
