Nanny rates?

Postby SarahS » Fri Jan 04, 2013 7:21 am

Hi there. Just a quick question, what is the average nanny rate now? We are considering a part time nanny instead of childcare, mornings or afternoons in the week, but have no idea how much it would cost. Can anyone help?

Thanks, Sarah

Hi Sarah,
I would suggest taking into account the age of your Child. We have an experienced qualified nanny and pay £12.00 an hour for three children one of which is 3. With the previous 2 children when they first started school I had help which cost £7.00 per hour. It was very important to me that English was their first language, and feel with that and the experience I wanted £10 - £12 per hour was fair.

Hope this helps!

Hi Sarah,

Just wanted to confirm that in our experience a good quality and experienced nanny working part-time would cost £10-£12 net per hour.

Hope this helps!
