Six week check

Postby kt1705 » Mon May 17, 2010 8:55 am

I am due to have my 6 week check next week (after a fairly traumatic forceps delivery) and have absolutely no faith in my GP. He is completely disinterested and seems to dismiss most questions I've had in the past. Does anyone have any recommendations for a private GP/gynae I could book into for a thorough check over?

Locally, Dr. Anne Hales at the Thurleigh Road Private Practice is wonderful.....

Nick Morris (http://www.radidaccessgyanecology.co.uk) is great. Let me know if you would like his telephone number and I will email it to you.

I don't know the GPs in your area but could help you prepare for a much more positive birth experience this time round.

I teach HypnoBirthing classes and often work with mothers on a private basis when they've had a difficult or traumatic previous birth.

Hypnotherapy is a very effective way of eliminating stress and giving you the tools to feel positive and excited about your next birth. Please email me if you'd like more info. All the best, Kristin (Hayward) :-)
