Unfortunately the amazing family I am currently working for are being located overseas so will therefore no longer need my help (boohoo) !

That does mean I am looking for a new family to join and become a part of the family.

I am very big on my own personal development as nanny is very much my career, I have enrolled for a childcare course, recently this has been confirmed distance learning so I can still work 4 days a week and study in my own time - which is brilliant as there is just too much fun to be had with the wee ones!

I hold a variety of certificates such as:
CACHE Diploma Level 3
Maternity Nursing Diploma
Care for Multiples Level 3
Baby Care for Nannies Level 3
First Aid
CRB
OFSTED Registered

I have a very keen interest in cooking and I ensure the children eat a well balanced home cooked diet. I also enjoy planning outings such as museum trips, play sessions, library groups and of course playdates with other children as I know the importance of social interaction in little people. I am a very hands on nanny that ensures the children's days are filled with variety and joy. I know Clapham very well and have a good circle of friends.

I am looking for a family to join 4 or possibly 5 days a week, sole charge. Happy to travel if slightly out of the area.

Chantelle has been a sole charge nanny to our three boys (4yrs, 2yrs and 1yr) between September 2012 and end June 2013. During this period, she has always been punctual, never missed a day off sick and has willingly worked extra hours (often at short notice). She even travelled to the Midlands to care for the boys whilst I attended a family funeral.

From the first moment she met the children, Chantelle knew how to gain their interest and trust, she quickly developed a strong and loving relationship with the boys. Chantelle has made looking after three boys (36 months apart) look easy. Her calmness and warmth towards the children mean she has naturally gained their respect and they behave impeccably for her. Other parents and friends have seen Chantelle out and about with the boys and have been quick to tell me how lovely it is to see the children so happy with her and that her control over the boys looks effortless. In addition to looking after our children, Chantelle has organised regular play dates with other children so the boys mix well with peers.

Chantelle’s day to day duties include cooking two hot meals a day for the children, outings to the parks, museums, soft play, play groups, library, singing classes, organising play dates, baking and crafts. Keeping kitchen and living space clean and tidy, occasional washing for childrens’ clothes, if required. On top of the day to day role, she found time to successfully potty train my two year old (I think he only ever had one accident). She works 10 hours a day, 4 days a week and even though she must be tired at times, it never shows. She is very knowledgeable and truly professional.

It is a delight to have found Chantelle and have her to look after our children. Unfortunately, we will be moving to Singapore in July 2013, so we will no longer be able to employ Chantelle (although I did offer to take her with us).
I would employ Chantelle again without hesitation and thoroughly recommend her to any family.

I have found her very easy to work with - she's super reliable, always on time, has never been sick. I leave for work totally secure that my children are going to have a lovely day - they often hold on to her legs to stop her leaving at the end.
