Hi, We had a great night at the Gurkhas Diner on Balham High Road last week, it is just past Balham tube station on the right travelling towards Tooting. The food was excellent, the Vegetable rice was so good I could have eaten it as a main course , paella style ! I would say this was one of the best curries I have ever had and a very relaxed atmosphere in which to enjoy the great food.

I've had a couple of good meals there as well although - weirdly - their takeaways aren't so good.

I think it would be good if there was a clear place to post restaurant/café/pub recommendations and reviews on here. There's so many place to eat in SW London and would be handy to get first hand accounts

Thank you , very useful, we were going to use their take away service, but think we will stick to eating in !
