Is there a funfair happening on Wandsworth Common this weekend? I haven't see any promotion for one?
I ask because I saw a large gathering of travellers on the part of the common by Brinkleys yesterday?

I'm not aware of a fun fair taking planned for Wandsworth Common. Not sure how there would be room with all of the teenagers that party there every night :-)

The Bellevue Road fete is usually at the start of September so maybe here for that?

It’s a funfair. They have it every year. Seems to be mainly rides for little kids. Always seems pretty empty.

There is a funfair on the Bellevue Road side of the common. It’s open daily from 12, until the 31st of August.

After months of lockdown, my two kids, 3 and 6, were delighted to go. Agree not a huge funfair, but as not a lot of people knew about it, it was quite empty, ie no queues! There were a couple of attractions that were definitely for the older ones, and saw a small group of teenagers (with masks) get on them.

The jumping ropes, bumper cars and the runaway train were a hit with my 2. Easy to spend a lot of money quickly, but we had fun!

Ridiculously priced kids fun fare.  Somebody at the council is no doubt taking a bung.
