Let’s Act Drama Teacher positions

SEPTEMBER TEACHING POSITIONS - SATURDAY IN CLAPHAM AND EARLSFIELD - Full commitment for the term required please. TEAM LEADERS (must have management experience) AND TEAM MEMBERS.

We are looking for musical theatre/ LAMDA teachers and Managers for our schools in Clapham and Earlsfield. Please read the job description fully and drop us an email to - info@letsactdramaclasses.co.uk to book a zoom interview this week. We will be meeting teachers next Monday.

We are looking for someone who can commit to the entire school year - September 2022 to July 2023. Please do not apply if you are actively auditioning or performing professionally.

We require:
References from a previous employer.
Knowledge of teaching children aged 4 - 12 .
Knowledge of LAMDA or willingness to train to learn the syllabus.
Enhanced DBS (or must have one by September)
First aid training certificate (or must have one by September)

Salary:
£25.00-£35.00 per hour team member
£35.00 - £45.00 per hour team leader

Lets Act Drama School is a small business. We are supportive, rewarding, fun and our goal is to give children confidence through drama, musical theatre and LAMDA training.
We are seeking an enthusiastic and well-rounded Musical theatre and LAMDA teacher to inspire groups of children aged 4 - 12. The ideal candidate must have lots of enthusiasm for the subject and have a great rapport with kids. A passion for teaching LAMDA exams and musical theatre shows is a must. The successful candidate will collaborate with our team to build fun, comprehensive lesson plans that ensure our students can progress at their own pace while also learning the techniques they need to be confident and well-rounded performers.
Responsibilities:
Communicate with children and their parents.
Teach children how to speak with a confident articulated voice.
Be a good role model for children.
Keep parents informed of their child's progress.
Encourage children to practice to improve their skills.
Put together a yearly show.
Teach LAMDA examination content.


We are looking for someone to work weekdays 3.00 - 5.30 and weekends 10.00 - 11.30 or 13.00.
