I bought a used car with a tow bar, but have decided I would like to get it removed. As I don't like the look of it sticking out, and always afraid I'd damage the car behind when parallel parking. As I have no use for a tow-bar, would like to just get it removed - guessing it also lightens the car, so better fuel efficiency!
Are there any local mechanics or car shops that anyone can recommend to do this? In the Balham / Clapham area?
it is a Horizon Global / Witter tow bar. Unfortunately, it is a fixed tow bar, rather than one that is easily detachable...
