On Thursday 30th November 2023, we are holding our annual Carol Concert - Carols by Candlelight. The Concert, held annually at St Luke’s Church, Battersea, raises money for St George’s School, Ethiopia. We'd love to see support from the local community as well as the local schools who so kindly help us each year.
St George’s was founded 10 years ago, with the support of the Broomwood schools and now educates 600 of the orphaned, deprived and displaced local children at St George’s School. All this due to the support of our sponsors, who are continuing to support the first 100 children at their secondary school, with intent to keep them all in education until they move on to University, trades or jobs.
NAEF does more than just educate the children. We also aim to integrate St George’s fully into the local community by helping them learn new skills that will open up employment options for their families as well. We intend to improve health in the community and to support better educational outcomes for as many as we can.
So come and enjoy a fun evening at Carols by Candlelight on Thursday 30th November 2023 at 7pm. Sing some of your favourite carols, enjoy performances by adult and Broomwood choirs, operatic arias from Opera Holland Park, original composition from Adrian Munsey, as well as readings from our guest celebrities.
