Hello,

My name is Gemma Manns and I am the nursery manager at Third Door - workhub and nursery. At Third Door we offer flexible childcare and co-working space. Our ethos is to make the lives of working parents easier- so allow you to choose the days and times each week you require child care, selecting to sign up for our PAYG or monthly packages. We have a warm team of practitioners and a qulified teacher on site every day to create exciting and stimulating activities catering for children of 3 months up to 8 years. In addition to our full time nursery (open 8.15-5.45) we also offer a holiday and after school club service.

Hello!

My name is Shazia and I am the Managing Director of Third Door, the UK’s first integrated Workhub with an onsite Nursery.

I’m a mum of two children myself and currently six months pregnant with my third!

I worked in a corporate before I became pregnant with my beautiful daughter who is now 4 years old. I knew I didn’t want to work in the corporate world once she arrived yet still wanted to work and be near her. I had the idea for Third Door when she was five months old and rather than just talk about the idea for the rest of my life, I decided to make it happen. I launched Third Door when my son was 6 months old in May 2010.

Our membership base is wide and growing. We have a mix of both genders as well as non-parents. Our members are able to work productively within the buzz of an office, network with like-minded people and best of all collaborate on projects. Members include a charity consultant, social media consultants, PR specialists, sustainability consultant, medical copy editor, Wordpress website designer, garden designer, ecommerce manager, business development manager, software engineer to name a few!

Members with children are able to use us (including the Nursery) on the days they need that work best for them.

We’ve recently won a fantastic competition with the prize being a mentoring session with James Caan, (former Dragon) which has come at a great time as we look to grow the business in other locations. We’ve also won several awards for business, entrepreneurship and childcare.
