Hotels near Clapham South tube station? Post Reply

Hi everyone,

Next month, we have some friends coming over and they would like to stay in a hotel. I've been searching the internet for hotels near Clapham South tube station and these are the ones I've found:
- The Gateway Hotel (already fully booked)
- Euro Lodge Clapham
- Windmill on the Common (very expensive)

Does anyone has experiences with one of the above hotels or know any other hotels that would be suitable?

When my parents came to visit last year they stayed a few nights at the Windmill and a couple at Euro Lodge.

They loved the Windmill, very comfortable rooms, nice breakfasts, etc but it isn't cheap.
Euro lodge - well it's cheap so don't expect much. Very tiny rooms and things were old and didn't work properly like the phone and TV.

My parents have also stayed in The Windmill a couple of times now, it isn't cheap but they always rave about how much they like it. The rooms are lovely and they always have a great breakfast in the mornings (which makes my dad very happy).
