Hi
Can anyone recommend a female driving instructor in the Balham/Tooting area for a nervous first time driver?

Try Carol Crowther at passwithcarol.com

She's independent, but really good and patient. I passed first time with only 30 hours of lessons.

Hi Mrs C
I tried then gave up due to lack of time before we moved to the area. I need to grasp the nettle again and must phone around but I wondered what sort of hourly charges you are being quoted?
Good luck with your lessons by the way!

Tracy Kirk is wonderful - she's based down in South Wimbledon but can meet you near the tube station and is such a gem she's worth the trip. 07956 208 786. Good luck!

Hi Camille

I did a search around about half a year ago for driving instructors - was being quoted from £20/hour to £25/hour, slightly less if you buy in blocks of 10 lessons at a time.

Thanks everyone. I will call around using your ideas this week.

I haven't actually had any quotes yet but from what I can see online £20-25 seems to be average.
