**Innovative party going home bag ideas**

Postby cosmopolitanmum » Tue Apr 03, 2012 10:51 am

My sister is looking for innovative ideas for going home bags for her 3 year old daughter's birthday party. She doesnt want to do the traditional partybag. Last year she painted little flower pots and perosnalised them with the children's names, and gifted with a pack of seeds. This year she is thinking of giving cookie mix in a persoalised bag "thank you for coming to my party" which she can order online for £3.50.

Any other creative ideas? Should be less than 5 quid...
Any ideas much appreciated!
Thanks x

Great question. Love to get some inspiration too. Just had daughters 4th birthday. Amazon was great for little bits and bobs and I got sugar mice too. But other ideas that are A bIt more original would be good.

One of my favourite online shops, Cox and Cox,

has some lovely ideas that might be poached.

I love these:

They also have a wedding favours section - that might throw up some ideas..

We have given & received:
Books (always a hit)
Frisbees
Hula Hoops
Jump rope (6 years on and we still use it!)
Canvas & paints - check out the pound store- they have little canvases and different types of paint
Notebooks & Coloured pencils - again pound store has some great items

Or check out TK Maxx - their toy aisle is great and you can often find items you can split up for party bags.

Hi cosmapolitanmum,

If you add a craft element to your party this always works as great way to incorporate it as a party bag. Here are some craft ideas we use when creating party entertainment which are then presented at the end of the party in a lovely themed party bag:

- T Shirt decorating (using either fabric pens or paints)
- Mug decorating (using porcelain pens rather than paint)
- Treasure Trove Box Decorating (used as a keep sake box)
- Photos! (Photo Studio set up with fun props, pictures printed at the end of the party to take home)
- Jewellery making (can be age appropriate, bracelets, necklaces, charms etc...)

Take a look at what we do here - http://www.notoriousproductions.co.uk/kids.php

Hope that's helpful
