Wandsworth reminds parents to be vigilant

Postby NPMum » Sun May 27, 2012 8:44 am

This was posted on the Wandsworth Council Website on Friday.

Parents urged to be vigilant

Release date: Friday 25th May 12

Police in Wandsworth are reminding local parents of the need to be vigilant and report any suspicious activity they witness near school gates.
Detectives are calling on parents to report any unusual behaviour they spot and to be aware of people loitering near school entrances.
The advice comes after officers in neighbouring Kingston began looking into reports that children at schools in that borough may have been approached by a man and a woman who were not their parents.
Anyone who spots suspicious activity near schools is being urged to dial 999 and call the police.
