SUMMER BALLET WORKSHOPS
THE FIREBIRD
This summer Ecole de Danse Balham is offering inspirational Ballet Workshops for children aged : 4 – 5 ½ yrs and 6 – 8 yrs old.
Introducing a Ballet Russe theme, the workshops will be based on the enchanting production of ‘The Firebird’.
Boys and girls will have fun discovering what goes in to putting on a real ballet. This would include daily dancing, costume making, learning how to tell a story through ballet, its relation to music and how a ballet production would be presented in a Theatre.
The workshops would culminate in a small ‘production’ for friends and family to watch.
The Summer Ballet Workshops will be located in the beautiful Heaver Studio in Balham and will take place on;
28th, 29th, 30th August 2012
9.30am – 12.30pm: 4 – 5 1/2yrs old and 1:30pm-4:30pm: 6 – 8 yrs old
£120 for 3 days inclusive of daily snacks and props for the production.
