Recently there has been a noted increase in the number of missing cat posters up and around the Balham/Tooting Common area. As a cat owner I sympathise with anyone who has had to search or is searching the moggy. This evening my husband ran in and back out of the house, car keys in hand, tonight saying he thought there were some men trying to coax a rather handsome black cat into their car. So I thought I'd just raise a bit of awareness. I have to say he didn't get involved when he went back as he said they didn't look like people to mess with and weren't acting like it was there cat...no kitty noises perhaps. But if you live around the Culverden/Byrne Road area and own a cat just keep an eye out.
