Christening Venue - Wimbledon Village - Help

Hi We have managed to get a christening organised for the church in Wimbledon village. However due to a large family on both sides we do not have enough room in our house to accommodate family and our close friends. the church hall is already booked up - can anyone help recommend a place to hire or somewhere that could accommodate us which would be close by?

it would be great to have a kitchen facility but this may not be possible. Also will look into surrounding areas.... Wimbledon Park/Southfields etc...

We christened our kids about 5 years ago and had the party at Canizaro House in Wimbledon. It was brilliant, we had a room to ourselves. And they even let us use a room next door for an entertainer for the kids while adults ate. It's a really lovely venue.

How about the hall that belongs to St Mary's church at the top of Arthur Road?
I've been to a couple of parties there and it's a great venue (and I think they have a kitchen).

Unfortuately the hall is already hired and also for weeks and weeks ahead as we looked into changing the date, otherwise it would have been perfect. keep suggestions coming in guys as at a bit of a loss.

The golf club on the common next to the windmill advertises that it is for hire. It looks nice whenever we go past when walking the dog. Have typed the website above but if this is not right it is called the London Scottish Golf club.
