Dad's groups

Postby SarahS » Fri Jan 04, 2013 6:54 am

Hi all! I've just discovered this website which is great as me and my fiancé live in teddington and have a five week old baby boy.
I am trying to find a dad's group or group of dads that meet up for my partner. Does anyone know of anything in the area?

Thank you, Sarah.

Hi there - Teddington Baptist Church runs 'Who let the Dads out?'. Here's a little blurb below which I found on the website.

For Dads with 0 to preschool aged children so they can spend more time with their kids. It is run along the same lines as Open Door but meets on one or two Saturdays a month in the church hall from 10.00 am to 11.30 am. For dates see the Church Diary or Tel: (020)-8977 8000.

We are also going to start organising meet ups... All welcome! Mums & Dads! Watch this space....

Hi yeah that's great for dads that want to spend a day with there little ones what about those that spend everyday with them.
There are mother and toddler groups all over the place everyday but as yet not one dad daily group.
There is also a dad session in the Stanley centre on Saturdays.
There is even a local pub doing mother and baby lunch specials that I can't get the same special as iam not a mum!
Frustrated DAD

Hi Hampton dad, I help run a toddler group at Hampton Wick Baptist church on a Wednesday, 9.30 to 11.30am, we get a few dads, you're more than welcome to join us, if we got enough dads might consider a dads group?

Hi Teddington Dad,
You know that's sounds great will try and pop down one morning to see you, feel there is a gap here that's all. With many more dads now taking over the role there needs to be something for us.
Thanks again

DADS & TEENEY'S GROUP ANYONE?- Re: Dad's groups

Postby TeeneyWeenies1610 » Mon Jan 14, 2013 7:37 pm

Hi Teddington Dads

Don’t despair! TEENEY WEENIES KIDS PLAY CAFÉ is here to help
We are open daily (except sat/sun) 10-1.30pm (Wednesdays 10-12noon). We have on offer awesome coffees and a great selection of Kid/ adult lunches. We also have FREE WiFi, FREE Onsite Parking and under 6months are FREE. Oh and Adults are FREE to.
We have a great selection of toys and a very relaxed and safe atmosphere. We have plenty of ‘regular’ Dads that come in and so it would be great if we got this number up and got you Dads socialising like the mums do! If I get enough interest from this post I will tweet/ facebook and post a regular day, like say every Tuesday …call it ‘Dads & Teeney’s’
If you need more info please click on the Whats On tab on the left hand side of your screen or search us out on line, like us on Facebook or follow us on Twitter. You will also find feedback posts on this site or (dare I say it) other mummy sites!!
Let the force be with you fellas;)
