Recommendations needed for local carpenter/joiner

Hi,
Can anyone recommend a local carpenter please. we need some floating shelves built and a bathroom cabinet for under the basin. I've seen James Dean (?) vans but has anyone used them?

Hi - wanted to reply to your post as we have literally just had floating shelves put in and cupboards in the bathroom created. We found this carpenter and couldn't recommend him enough! Did a very good job and very professional. Really nice guy and tidy! His name is david Olsen and number 07803 254054

Definitely worth giving him a ring. We found him on check a trade.

We and a neighbour used these guys: http://www.hedgewright.com/

Quality of finish and attention to detail was superb (and still is, after three years in the children's room).
