Looking for info: Boot camp Th. 9 am Wandsworth Common

Postby E_r_i_c_a » Fri Oct 11, 2013 10:25 am

This is my first post on this forum and excited I found it. Seems like a great source of information for the area. Now i'm hoping someone can help me out with something. I was running (or trying to) through Wandsworth Common and on the pitch across the tracks on the west side of the park near the big pond. I didn't want to disturb the calisthenics/boot camp happening but figured I could look it up. Every place I look their timetable doesn't include Thursday Mornings around 9:30 am which would be a perfect time for me.

Can anyone help?

thanks!

Hi, If the teacher is wearing army style pants and the class are wearing coloured bibs, it's British Military Fitness (BMF). There is a class on Thursdays starting at 9.30. I'm a big fan, and if you fancy it, you can get a free trial class by registering for one on their website.

Thanks for the quick reply! Unfortunately it wasn't what you described. There were 2 blond women in black sweatshirts with white writing on it. Sigh... guess i'll just have to wait awhile til I can make it out there again on a Thursday.

I do "Fit for a Princess" classes on Wandsworth common, they run them on Sat and Sunday 8am and 9am (and during the week mornings too although i've never done the morning weekday sessions). Although not sure it's the class you are talking about as it's closer to the common ground. It's only £5 per session and highly recommend it, really hard but feel great afterwards.

Thanks for the reply!
I thought it was them too but I checked their timetable and all signs point to no. But I did end up signing up with them for a week trial. The website looked like it was difficult but fun-ish, as much fun as one can have sweating her face off.
