Hi there, I just wanted to write a nice review about The Lavender restaurant on Lavenderhill. I discovered it a few weeks ago when I just had a glass of wine and some Italian nibbles (ham, mortadella...), and yesterday evening I went to their lobster evening (they do it every Thusrday), which was fantastic!
The food is very fresh, wines very good, it is owned by Italian people, they are very friendly and know about their stuff. Overall a good value for the quality of the products. One of my best dining experience around here...
So just wanted to share it!

Yes, it has really improved since it was taken over and refurbished. Really good Italian food and drinks and friendly service.
