We are looking for a live out, experienced nanny on Thursdays and Fridays (days are non-negotiable I'm afraid) for our two children, a girl who will be 5, and a little boy who will be coming up to two. Our little girl goes to a local school 2 mins (max) walk from our house, so from 9.15-3.15 the job would only be looking after our little boy.
The hours will be 8am-6pm on both days. FLEXIBILITY is required within these time frames, and we would need someone who would be happy to stay on for an extra hour or two occasionally, or start at 7am sometimes ('overtime' would be paid for this).
Please note that this will be an EMPLOYED role, with a contract, NI and tax paid, paid holidays etc. We will NOT do cash in hand.
We are a fun, kind family to work for, and will offer a generous salary of £10 p/h net (i.e. after tax and NI, so you would take home £200 per 2 day week) plus 12 days paid holiday per year (9 of which must be taken in SCHOOL HOLIDAYS).
What we are looking for:
Sole charge, experienced nanny
Preferably English as a first language, or else extremely fluent in both spoken and written English (to help our daughter with homework)
Non smoker
CRB checked, first aid and excellent references
Kind, fun, caring and patient, but able to discipline when necessary
A confident cook, who is happy to prepare good, nutritious meals for the kids
Someone who will be active with them, take them to the park, organize play dates etc.
We are looking for a handover period in late August, with a view to starting in September.
