The first meet-up of the 2010 school year is with our great friends Cafe Du Village on the 30th September.

Its one of our favourite South West London hang-outs and Nick and his team will be on hand to look after you all!

Location: Cafe Du Village, Bellevue Road, Wandsworth Common

Time: 10am to 12pm

*Free tea, coffee, croissants and juice for toddlers*

Perfect for a refreshment stop after a lovely walk across the Common!

We know its a busy time of year so please respond to this post if you are thinking of coming along. We need to let chef know how many of his wonderful croissants to bake!

I've been trying to join many mums groups in the area but they all tend to have meetings during working days. Sadly as I would have loved to become an active member of NappyValley where I also live but I am a full time working mum and can't take days off. Any chance you could take into account working mums and propose meet ups after work hours or weekends? Or is this forum / mums group only for stay-at-home mums?

Hi Anabanana and Ming,

Please dont feel left out, its most defininetly not our intention to exclude 'working mums'.

Following on from some other similar comments we did try a couple evening meet ups, but, even though there was complimentary childcare on offer at our last event we had very little take up!

We will try again, but I'm sure you can appreciate why we are following our current format just now.

I promise to keep your comments in mind.
