I'm organising a baby shower/afternoon tea for a friend and as she's almost due we've decided to host at her house as a surprise. She has a fairly big garden and so looking to have a picnic type event.

Does anyone know of any companies, shops etc that you can order a pre made picnic hamper?

I have used Trinity Stores in Balham a few times for things at my house. Mainly party food and our Christening. I imagine they will do a picnic.

M&S - order online, collect in store (think you need to give 3-5 days notice depending on what items you want). Have fun!

More upmarket i know but depending on the style of your event Fortnum and Mason do some in a nice wicker basket!

I think Bee's Pantry might be worth trying. They do food for new mums but I seem to remember seeing somewhere they do picnics as well. They are certainly very accommodating so worth a try.http://www.beespantry.com/
