Looking for someone to upgrade our garden Post Reply

I live between the commons and I'm looking for someone to input to the design and implemention of two small projects to "upgrade" both our small front garden and the rear of our back garden (the previous owners had a large trampoline on chips which we want to replace with some form of entertaining / dining area.)

Does anyone have any recommendations?

I'd recommend Piers Beeching who designed and replanted our our back garden, as well as getting the hard landscaping done. He's very nice and been working locally for a number of years. http://beeching.co.uk/

Tina from Conker Gardens did a great job for us at the end of last summer, transforming our mud patch into both a child friendly play space and an adult entertaining area.
They did the job very quickly, during the hottest week of the summer and were really tidy as well as being very nice people to have around.

Tina & dan from Conker Gardens did ours last spring too & have totally transformed our garden. We love it so much and the children are out in it everyday. Tina's ideas were amazing and they were a lovely team to have around. Really hard working in torrential rain and the finished job brilliant. Highly recommended

If you 're looking for someone to do a great job on your garden, you should try Tom Howard. He was recommended to us by a friend (who used him via another friend), and he did a fantastic job with her garden as well as ours. He was also great to work with and never felt him or his team being intrusive. The project was well managed and finalised within the deadline he had given us. Any ideas roughly how much it costs?
Our garden is about 20 sqm and we want to replace 2 of the fences and the floor + add new plants.
A garden design company that i called said around 12k, seems quite steep to me...

We just had our garden done with Clapham Landscapes and we're disappointed with the completion. I don't like to be one to spread bad news but would like to avoid others having similar difficulties.

The garden itself looks great but was finished nearly 2 weeks later than originally planned, and we really had to hassle to get him to come around and finish off. We're still waiting for an electrician to fit the lights 3 weeks later - and I fear we won't now that we've paid the gardener for his work. He now doesn't answer my calls or respond to my texts... Very disappointing.
