Nanny with their own child

Postby munchme » Wed Sep 17, 2014 9:20 pm

I have an opportunity to hire a nanny (for my 8 month old) who will bring her own child to work (10 month old). She is French speaking. I was wandering how much is a reasonable price per hour. I am not sure what is the rate for nanny share prices (£6 p/h) and, if this is in fact a nanny share, and if the language aspect influences the price at all. Any thoughts on price and just general advice/ experience with this type of employment would be greatly appreciated.

I've worked as a nanny with my own child before and the family's still paid me the normal nanny rate of £10 per hour.

We had a similar situation and paid 7£ph.
I don't think the language would influence the price (i may be wrong though), but the experience of the nanny and her qualifications would.
