Reposting as the original post seems not to be working when the link is clicked.

First time we've had a nanny so no idea what is expected. Some friends tell me that a week's salary is the norm as a bonus and some say they don't do that at all. We are happy with our nanny but couldn't afford a week's salary as a bonus. What do others do? The children will make her a card and get her a small, personal gift. The gift/bonus is more from the parents. Thanks!!!

It's hard to say how much, but I paid my nanny £100 on her first Christmas with us, and £200 the following Christmas. We are now thinking how much we should give her this year, as it will be her third Christmas with us. She's amazing, but I can't afford to give her a whole week pay bonus. Hope this help.
