Postby AbbevilleMummy » Wed Oct 07, 2015 10:48 pm

Hi there, I saw the other post looking for femail au pairs to help out at a kids birthday party and though what a good idea, so am copying....

I'm looking for 3 male au pairs who would be willing to show up at my little boy's party for about half an hour to an hour dressed up as a superhero!

Costume would be provided!

please get in touch if interested as getting a little desperate!

It was me that posted the request for Au Pairs to help out at a birthday party and I found a lovely girl (just left University) who brought her friend along and they did a wonderful job painting nails and French Plaiting hair. It was a real success. They asked for £12 per hour - we paid them more because they were brilliant. If I'd hired (as I did do a couple of years ago) a specialist Nail Painting/hair do-ing Kid's Birthday team to do the job, they probably would have charged around £150.

Just thinking . . . . . that if you're looking for someone to dress up in costumes for your party, then it doesn't matter if they're male or female does it? I reckon there maybe a lot more girls out there willing to take on such a task rather than boys. I can PM you the ones that replied to my post if you'd like. x

I'm a male nanny looking after 4 children.

Dressed up as Kristoff, Peter Pan an superheroes at loads of parties and at Great Ormond Street Hospital.

If you'd like, I'm happy to plan a superhero party, just need 1 weeks notice and the party would have to be a Saturday PM. As I coach football in the morning.

PM me for more information.

Thanks

Hi Merrylegs, great idea of yours to ask au pairs to help out, thank you!

Afraid it does have to be male ones though. My little boy thinks that Superman, Batman and Spider-Man are real people and he has sent them invites to his birthday party so I obviously don't want to burst his bubble just yet by having girls dressed up as these characters.

Aaron, the date is 18th October and the time of the party is 11-1. If you could do an hour between those times that would be amazing! PM me if you're available! I'll provide the costume etc!
