Council confirms purchase of Bolingbroke site for new school Post Reply

We are pleased to confirm that the council has today purchased the Bolingbroke hospital site to enable the new secondary school to remain on plan to open next year in Sept 2102. Link below to council website.

Next steps include placing adverts later this month for the new headteacher plus ongoing design work for the building refurbishment. The school will open to the first cohort of 150 Year 7 pupils in Sept 2012.

The success of the project to date is down to the 2,600 local parents who support the demand for the provision of state secondary education in south Battersea.
