Warm Mist Humidifier Post Reply

Hi All,

I need your advice - my daughter has a cold and I am looking to buy a warm mist humidifier for her room (only for illnesses not for everyday use). Does anyone have any recommendations? I am thinking about either Vicks or Bionaire, but I am open. Also, I'd like to find one that is on the quiet side.

we bought the Vicks one - and it isnt really that quiet but it certainly did the trick for our LO. His bunged up nose was much better the nights we used it and a better nights sleep was had by all!

I second the Vicks thing, it's been so good for my son with his colds. It makes a noise kind of like a kettle boiling but that actually seemed to soothe him. This is the one we got:
