I am new to this site, so apologies if my following question is naive. Basically up till now, I have left all house stuff i.e. cleaning, ironing etc for my wife to sort.
However, I realise that it would be a good thing for me to try and help out and so what I am looking for is the following ( btw, not sure if this role exists, so am keen to hear from anyone if this job description is not right!)
We are looking for a housekeeper part time, probably two days a week, 4 hours per day. Jobs could include ironing, cleaning, light cooking and also some babysitting.
We have a 2 year old who would need picking up from nursery maybe once a week, and being put to bed etc.
Obviously, we would not expect someone to babysit whilst house cleaning, but we are looking for someone trustworthy who is happy to do the above, as opposed to us finding a babysitter/a cleaner etc. We would like it to be one person ideally so that our daughter gets used to them and is happy to be looked after by them. We are happy to pay £10-£11 per hour. As this would include babysitting, we need someone with experience of this and /or someone who has kids, CRB checked etc.
I am new to all this, so hope that this makes sense and that I am not asking anything ridiculous.
